About Beyond the Bay All films are shown at the historic Bay Theatre, 216 N. St. Joseph, Suttons Bay, Michigan. Beyond the Bay is dedicated to bringing to this area high quality, award-winning films one would not otherwise have the opportunity to see because of their lower commercial draw. The Bay Theatre supports our efforts and provides the perfect setting for our films. Film is perhaps the major art form of our time. These vital statements by the best International and American artists provide an important cultural asset to our community. By offering these films as a subscription series, Beyond the Bay can guarantee the expense of film rental, freight, and theatre screenings at a reasonable ticket price. We would like to thank the many who have helped us to establish and promote our film series. The following have generously contributed their professional service to the project.
Beyond the Bay Film Series is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. It was formed in 1999 and has a five-member, volunteer Board of Directors who select the films and perform all the business duties.
